Nonverbal Messages

Do you know that more than 65% of meaning of message is carried nonverbally?
Apparantly that what the statistics are... And below are some sample cues and their possible meanings, so that we could be aware of... Though I personally would think that nonverbal messages are pretty much interpreted very subjectively... hehe oh well.. this is from me textbook which is from a WESTERN contex anyways....

Lifting an eyebrow = Disbelief
Lowering eyebrows = Uneasiness, suspicion
Lifting both eyebrows = Surprise
Eye contact = Interest , confidence
Winking an eye = Intimacy
Slapping forehead = Forgetfulness
Rubbing the nose = Puzzlement
Turning up corners of mouth = Happiness
Cocking head to one side = Friendly , human
Little/ no head movement = Cool , emotionless
Raised shoulders = Fear
Retracted shoulders = Suppressed anger
Square shoulders = Responsibility
Bowed shoulders = Carrying a burden
Shrugging shoulders = Indifference
Sitting with arms and legs crossed = Withdrawal , resistance
Clasping arms = Protection
Tapping fingers = Impatient
