Update and unvealing of research paper!

Its been a full 20days since my last post.. and yes I know... Its not that the blogging fantacism had subsided in me.. Its just too many things all shooting at me at almost the same time... I did mentioned the end of mid-terms marks the start of the hectic cum chaotic college life due the all, and i mean ALL the big time assignments' due date all come at once... (blame the college's system) and those assignment just ain't mere fill in the blanks of questions given or color a pretty little picture type of work.. 5000 words of non-crap, non-fiction, non-made out reports which are backed up by at least 8 internationally recognized psychological journals kinda work... just imagine the load u hafta go thru just to complete 1 of those assignments...

1) Browse through the journal archives.
2) Read up any journals you can grab on which have the slightest relations regarding your topic of research (which in most cases 2 out of 5 actually relevent to ur work if your lucky! xD)
3) Do a thorough read out of the journals selected (each journal roughly consists of 20 pages PDF mind you)
4) Based on the journals summarize all the past researches to your topic. (which means u not only need to read but understand every freaking word xD)
5) Contruct ur research from your report.
6) Run pilot test/trial run of experiment (with lecturers/self, and pray nothing goes wrong or u'll need to repeat step 4 onwards again or worst case probably step 1)
7) Run experiment for several sessions and pray that people would participate.
8) Compile results and CALCULATE (is it just me or is that word is extremely Horrifying?)
9) Complete your report with appropriate references (trust me, sometimes this is the most frustrating part to write :P)

Estimated duration for completion of the research = 2-3 weeks for an average work
4-5 weeks for a somewhat good work?

p/s: That would totally depend on the people your working with too >.<
